Star Parties are organized by Alan Stahler. NC Astronomers participate in his events with their equipment.
The Star Parties are generally held just after sunset on the Saturday evening nearest the New Moon, dependent on local weather conditions of course. Children are always welcome, and bring your own scope if you would like some pointers on how to use it.
