Star Parties are organized and hosted by Alan Stahler. NC Astronomers participate in his events with their equipment.
The Star Parties are generally held just after sunset on the Saturday evening nearest the New Moon, dependent on local weather conditions of course. Children are welcome, especially now that it gets dark early!
